It's My Birthday!

Wooo, the big 2 - 0 eh?! No longer a teen I now have to start being sensible - stop drinking too much - get fit and do my work (hmm sounds like me?!).
Anyways, went out last night down to St Kilda which is the beach bit, lotsa people came out which was great but far too difficult to organise!!! Ended up a bit off a shambles n i felt a little homesick. Went up to Brunswick street, but pretty much came straight home cos i couldn't be bothered to be out!
Today was great tho - my actual birthday. Got up opened my pressi's and Ariel my housemate made us all pancakes yum! Then chilled in the sun - topping up the tan! hehe and went to the free barby at the bar. Chilled some more, then a few of us, me, George, Kara, Ariel, Danielle and Cecile all went out to mosquito, a really nice restaurant. Had a lovely meal - ate far too much and topped it off with a strawberry daiquiri which was lush!

Just got back and Jess, Simon, Alan, Dan, George, Kara, Ariel and Cecile had a cake all prepared and surprised me. It was lovely but cant get the Happy Birthday song out of my head!!

Hopefully will get some pics up soon - that business is driving me mad!!

Finally She Arrives!

G'day everyone!

Which, no one really says btw, they saw, hows it going? Anywho. I am here! lol, the land down under.
It has been exactly a week since I set off from sunny England, calling at Singapore on the way, I am finally here. Singapore was beautiful and really cheap. Did a city tour so got to see the sights, will put some pics up on here soon.

Been doing a lot of orientation stuff, meeting the internationals. Met some nice people so far and Australian people are sooooooooo friendly. It's class! Did a treasure hunt yday round the city with loadsa people i dint know, kinda got us all out of our comfort zones and meeting knew people. Plus the rep men were fit! :-) Then went out for tea in chinese restaurant were you cook your own food?!! then a bar for drinks. Going out to an Irish (mmm) bar 2nite, so thats all good.


This is a short post, cos gunna do a proper email soon , with my ozzie address and mobile number on, which some of you may have already, but will mail you it anyway!

Going to the Land Down Under

For everyone that knows me, I will be departing sunny england to go to Melbourne Australia on the 9th February 2005.

Calling at Singapore on the way for a few days, I should arrive into Melbourne on the 13th February 2005.

Keep checking out the website and I will keep you all up to date with my travels and my take on Ozzie men of course.
